Scott Gehring is the Chief Executive Officer of Community Health Alliance, the parent organization of Transitional Living, Inc. (TLC) and Sojourner Recovery Services. With nearly 20 years of executive leadership experience—including over 15 in behavioral health—he brings expertise in healthcare systems, nonprofit administration, and integrated service delivery. Scott began his behavioral health career with Volunteers of America as COO, followed by a leadership role at the American Red Cross. In 2013, he became CEO of Sojourner Recovery Services, leading a major transformation and later founding Community Health Alliance in 2017 through a strategic merger with TLC. Under his leadership, the organization has expanded its reach, improved service integration, and championed evidence-based care. A University of Cincinnati graduate with both a BA and Master’s degree, Scott is committed to health equity, recovery-focused systems, and sustainable community impact
